Just before the Lord closed out His word, He wanted John to pronounce one more blessing upon the disciples of Jesus Christ, declaring,

Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city (Revelation 22.14). 

Do you want to eat from the true tree of life? Do you want to enter through the gates of the city that John pictured for us, especially in Revelation 21? Do you see what you have to do? If you do the commandments of Jesus Christ, you will have the right to eat from the tree of life and you will have the right to enter through the pearly gates of the heavenly Jerusalem.
