03.07.2017 – New Testament: Mark 11.33
To read the Bible in a year, read Mark 11.20–33 on March 7, In the year of our Lord 2017
By Don Ruhl
Do you have questions for the Lord? If you could sit down right now with Him, and ask any question, what would you ask? What if He wanted to ask you some questions first? He did that to the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders. They wanted to know by what authority He operated. He said that first He wanted to ask them a question. However, they could not or would not answer His question,
So they answered and said to Jesus, “We do not know.” And Jesus answered and said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things” (Mark 11.33).
They did not seek a genuine answer to their question, but they played politics with Him, and He refused to submit to their wily ways.
Questions:
- Do you have questions for the Lord?
- What will you do, if He wants to ask you questions first?
