04.11.2017 – New Testament: Luke 13.20–21
To read the Bible in a year, read Luke 13.1–21 on April 11, In the year of our Lord 2017
By Don Ruhl
Compared to what the kingdom of God has become today on the Earth, it started with just a handful, but Jesus said it would start that way and it would grow mightily,
And again He said, “To what shall I liken the kingdom of God? It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened” (Luke 13.20–21).
The kingdom/church began in the city of Jerusalem, and now the sun never sets on the kingdom. It has happened just as Jesus said that it would.
Questions:
- How would you liken the kingdom of God? How would you illustrate it?
- Are you part of the kingdom of God?
