04.12.2017 – New Testament: Luke 13.23–24
To read the Bible in a year, read Luke 13.22–35 on April 12, In the year of our Lord 2017

Have you noticed that when you talk with people about the Bible, eventually they ask about the salvation of other people they know or something similar? Jesus had that experience,
Then one said to Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?” And He said to them, “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able” (Luke 13.23–24).
From His remark, we may conclude that not everyone is saved, and that if we wish to be saved, we have to strive to enter through the narrow gate. Also, He added that many will want to enter through the gate, but they will be barred from entering.
Therefore, He affirmed few will be saved.
Questions:
- Are you among the saved?
- Are you striving to enter through the narrow gate?
Was asked that question a couple of days ago. Some are sincere in their interest while others (in my opinion) try use it as a distraction from their own responsibility.

Yes, I hear people ask similar questions as a challenge or as a reason why they will not submit to God, because they want to show their rebellion.
