06.20.2017 – New Testament: Acts 4.23
To read the Bible in a year, read Acts 4.23–37 on June 20, In the year of our Lord 2017
By Don Ruhl
After the Jewish Council threatened the apostles, they went back to the local church in Jerusalem and reported what happened,
And being let go, they went to their own companions and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them (Acts 4.23).
The rest of the church needs to know not only the good things that happen, but also the opposition that we receive, for then they can glorify God for the persecution and pray to Him about it.
Questions:
- How do you react to people who criticize you or disagree with you?
- When or for what do you glorify God?
