The Bible frequently shows the futility of idols and the associated religions, but it also addresses the makers of idols,

They shall be ashamed
And also disgraced, all of them;
They shall go in confusion together,
Who are makers of idols.
(Isaiah 45.16) 

The makers of idols are just humans, who themselves were created by the God of heaven. So then what is idolatry? Creatures making creators. That does not make sense. No wonder then that the makers of idols shall run into disgrace and have confusion.
