When you preach and teach the word of God, you will get negative responses, including what we call in America, “Dirty looks.” That tempts the speaker to compromise the message, but hear what the Lord told Ezekiel,

“And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you dwell among scorpions; do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their looks, though they are a rebellious house” (Ezekiel 2.6). 

By warning the prophet ahead of time, he could expect the “dirty looks,” and maintain his position, knowing that he received his doctrine from God above, making it the absolute truth by which God shall judge man.

Therefore, do not compromise, nor force someone to compromise for you.
