Why did the Holy Spirit preserve the words of Jesus, and the prophets and apostles? We are supposed to hear what they all said and learn from those words. Jesus said,

“He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” (Matthew 11.15).

Are you capable of hearing? Can you read? Please, my friends, heed the words of Jesus and everyone whom He sent and who wrote the Scriptures for us, because the Lord told us to hear Him. That ought to be enough for us to want to listen to Him.

• How frequently do you read the Bible to know what the Lord said?
• Are there parts of the Bible that you do not like to hear or to read?
