01.20.2018 – New Testament: Matt 14.24–25
To read the Bible in a year, read Matthew 14.22–36 on January 20, In the year of our Lord 2018
By Don Ruhl
See the disciples in a boat by themselves on the Sea of Galilee and then see Jesus go walking by,
But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary. Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea (Matthew 14.24–25).
That makes me laugh. Storms on the water put us to fear, but Jesus just walks through it on the water! See Him walking up the waves and then down the backside. He can control the weather. He had nothing to fear.
