Philip discovered that Jesus of Nazareth was the One whom Moses and the prophets spoke. Therefore, Philip went to his friend Nathanael to tell him of the discovery,

Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!” (John 1.47).

Imagine Jesus saying that about you to your friends! Since we know who Jesus is, that would make us feel wonderful! Just continue to do as He says, and He shall call you a good and faithful servant.

• Has anyone accused you of being deceitful?
