What would you think of a man who spit on the ground and mixed his saliva with the dirt and applied the mud to your blind eyes and then told you to wash in a particular pool, and it gave you your sight? Jesus did that to a man in the Gospel According to John, and the Pharisees asked the blind man about it:

They said to the blind man again, “What do you say about Him because He opened your eyes?” He said, “He is a prophet” (John 9.17).

Yes, Jesus was a prophet as earth had never seen before, and much more than a prophet, but the Son of God, the Messiah of the prophecies of the Law, the Psalms, and the Prophets.
