07.11.2018 – New Testament: Acts 16.34
To read the Bible in a year, read Acts 16.16–40 on July 11, In the year of our Lord 2018
By Don Ruhl
When the Roman soldier in charge of the prison in Philippi converted to Christ by believing in Jesus Christ and by being baptized, watch what he did:
Now when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them; and he rejoiced, having believed in God with all his household (Acts 16.34).
This Roman rejoiced since he and his family believed in God and the jailer showed his rejoicing by feeding the men who had taught him.
