10.05.2018 – Old Testament: Isa 33.1
To read the Bible in a year, read Isaiah 31–33 on October 5, In the year of our Lord 2018
By Don Ruhl
Plundering others or destroying them when you have not had that action done to you brings on the Woe of the Lord. As He said to the enemies of Israel:
Woe to you who plunder, though you have not been plundered;
And you who deal treacherously, though they have not dealt treacherously with you!
When you cease plundering,
You will be plundered;
When you make an end of dealing treacherously,
They will deal treacherously with you.
(Isaiah 33.1)
You do not want to hear the Lord say, Woe, to you, for it means His wrath will be poured out upon you shortly.
Questions:
- What do you do when someone takes from you or tries to hurt you?
- Have you tried to hurt others?
