The Lord Jesus owns the earth and everything on it and everything under it. Truly, He owns the universe. However, note what Matthew said about Jesus when He lived on the earth:

So He got into a boat, crossed over, and came to His own city (Matthew 9.1).

While He was born in Bethlehem, he grew up in Nazareth and lived there until He was about 30 years old. That was His town, His city, just like you call a place home, although heaven is your ultimate home.
