If you are ready to die for Christ, you must first be living for Him, and before you can live for Him, you must die to yourself:

“For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it” (Mark 8.35).

Try to save your life in your way, you will lose your life. Save your life His way, you will truly save your life. However, that means putting His will first, for that is what a disciple does.

• Are you a disciple of Christ?
• Are you living for Him each day?
