In Romans 1, Paul showed the problems of the Gentile world, but in Romans 2, he shows the problems of the Jewish world. One of their problems was boasting about God, but so living that they denied him, so Paul charged them with this:

For “the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you,” as it is written.

– Romans 2.24

How many people today blast our God because of how they see Christians living? It seems that Paul could make the same charge against some Christians because they give cause for the Gentiles to blaspheme the one true and living God.
