Luke detailed the travels of Paul as he traveled toward Rome as a prisoner, and when he, Luke, and the others traveling with him arrived at Appii Forum and Three Inns (Acts 28.11–14), Luke says they found brethren, “When Paul saw them, he thanked God and took courage” (Acts 28.15). 

May all of us think that way when we see our brethren, especially when we meet new brethren.
