It seems to me that the last words of Peter in his second letter, should characterize what we think as Christians: “To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen” (2 Peter 3.18b). 

Isn’t that what we want? Is that not why we live? To us, as followers of Christ, seeing God glorified now and forever means more to us than anything.
