New Testament: Rom 3.21–22
To read the Bible in a year, read Romans 3 on August 2, In the year of our Lord Christ 2024
By Don Ruhl
What makes the Gospel of Jesus Christ so magnificent is what it makes available to us when we believe, as Paul said: “But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference…” (Romans 3.21–22).
Although I am not a Jew by the flesh, I can still have the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ!
That is true in spite of the vile things I have done in life. Praise God!
Questions from today’s reading and devotional:
- How do we know that God is over the Gentiles, just like he is over the Jews?
- Is there any difference to the Lord who we are in the flesh?
