Why does God do what he does? Why does he choose one person for one job, and another person for another job? As Paul said: “So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy” (Romans 9.16). 

Always remember that everything is from God, through him, and to him. That way, you will never try to take credit for something that he has done.
