Old Testament: Psa 89.13–14

By Don Ruhl
One of the best exercises that you can do for your spirit is to meditate upon the nature of our God, as Ethan the Ezrahite did in Psalm 89: “You have a mighty arm; strong is Your hand, and high is Your right hand. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; mercy and truth go before Your face” (Psalm 89.13–14).
Tell yourself those things today and see what it does to your spirit.
Questions from today’s reading and devotional:
- What else would you add to the list of Ethan?
- What is your favorite thing about God?
