You study the words of the Lord as revealed in Scripture. With the same zeal, study the works of the Lord as revealed in natural creation, because he is the Author of it just as he is the Author of Scripture. 

The psalmist sought to glorify the greatness of our God when he said: “The works of the LORD are great, studied by all who have pleasure in them” (Psalm 111.2). 

The reason man studies nature, or his works revealed in Scripture, is because God’s works are great. What he has done amazes us, and we want to learn more about it.
