Do you wish that others would get fired up about their faith, living it to the fullest? You can do something about it.
Listen to Paul speak to the Corinthian Church, which was located in the region known as Achaia: “Now concerning the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you; for I know your willingness, about which I boast of you to the Macedonians, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal has stirred up the majority” (2 Corinthians 9.1–2).
The zeal of the Corinthian Christians stirred up the majority of other Christians and churches when they heard about the Corinthian Church. Not everyone increased their zeal, because Paul said the Corinthians had stirred up the majority. You cannot affect some people. However, you will affect many others if you first become zealous.
Try it and see what happens.
Questions:
- Has someone stirred up your zeal?
- If so, how did they do it?
