Who is not affected by the land? Everyone experiences the blessing of the land, as King Solomon wrote: “Moreover the profit of the land is for all; even the king is served from the field” (Ecclesiastes 5.9). 

Therefore, everyone of us should take care of the land. Even if your life and what you do for a living does not appear to have any connection to the land, it does. From where do you think your food comes?
