New Testament: Col 1.27
To read the Bible in a year, read Colossians 1 on October 9, In the year of our Lord Christ 2024
By Don Ruhl
The Lord appointed Paul as a preacher and an apostle that he might go into the world and make the world aware of what God wants for everyone.
Paul told the Colossian Christians, “To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1.27).
What does God consider to be the greatest treasure? Whatever it is, don’t you think we should treasure it even as he does?
Paul told us that the riches that God has for the world is for Christ his Son to be in everyone, and that gives us all hope of glory.
Questions:
- After reading Colossians 1.27, do you believe that you treasure having Christ in you as you should?
- What are the most important things in your life?
