Old Testament: Isa 49.13
To read the Bible in a year, read Isaiah 48–49 on October 12, In the year of our Lord Christ 2024
By Don Ruhl
The world fights God’s people constantly, whether ancient Israel or the modern church, but with the Lord on our side, or rather with us on his side, we are on the winning side.
As it is written in the Book of Isaiah: “Sing, O heavens! Be joyful, O earth! And break out in singing, O mountains! For the LORD has comforted His people, and will have mercy on His afflicted” (Isaiah 49.13).
When you assemble with the church next Lord’s Day, remember this passage and sing all the songs that day with all your heart and soul.
Questions:
- Is your life all about the Lord?
- Do you pray to the Lord when trouble strikes your life?
