Do you believe that God will provide what you need?

New Testament: Matt 6.33

To read the Bible in a year, read Matthew 6 on January 7, In the year of our Lord Christ 2025

By Don Ruhl

If I seek the things of God, will God seek my things? Jesus declared: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” (Matthew 6.33).

That sentence seems easy enough to understand. The question is: Do I trust Jesus that it will be done for me as he said?

Trust means that I know he can keep his promises, and that he has the power and wisdom to do whatever it takes for him to provide for me.

Questions:

  • Do you trust Jesus to keep his promise?
  • Are you actively seeking the kingdom of God and his righteousness?
