The Lamb that suffices for our daily offering

Old Testament: Eze 46.13–15

To read the Bible in a year, read Ezekiel 45–46 on December 1, In the year of our Lord Christ 2025

By Don Ruhl

Of the many things that the Lord showed of, what many people call, “Ezekiel’s Temple,” notice the offering of a daily lamb: “You shall daily make a burnt offering to the LORD of a lamb of the first year without blemish; you shall prepare it every morning…” (Ezekiel 46.13–15).

Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. He offered himself once, but his offering lasts forever, so that we have a daily offering to the God of heaven.

Questions:

  • Do you devote yourself to the Lord daily?
  • How often do you think of the self-sacrifice of Jesus?
