Jesus took the scroll

New Testament: Rev 5.7

To read the Bible in a year, read Revelation 5 on December 14, In the year of our Lord Christ 2025

By Don Ruhl

John saw a scroll in the right hand of God, but no one was found worthy to open the scroll.

Then John saw a Lamb in the midst of the throne: “Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne” (Revelation 5.7).

Picture that in your mind. See God on his throne holding a scroll, and then a Lamb walks up to God on the throne and takes the scroll.

That means the Lamb is worthy to open the scroll. What things shall we see happen when the Lamb opens the scroll?

  • What do you think of the Book of Revelation?
  • Does it frighten you?
