Many demons in a man

A many-demon-possessed man approached Jesus, and He commanded the demons to come out of the man. However, before the demons left, this little interesting conversation took place,

Jesus asked him, saying,

“What is your name?” And he said, “Legion,” because many demons had entered him (Luke 8:30).

During the days of the Roman Empire, 3,000 to 6,000 soldiers comprised a legion. This man was super-possessed.

Yet, that was no problem for the one man Jesus, who with His simple command removed the demons from this man.
