Paul lived in the grace of God and that gave the apostle total confidence—not in himself, but in the God who gives grace—as death approached,

Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing (2 Timothy 4.8).

Do you want to face death in that manner? If so, you have to love the appearing of Jesus Christ, even as Paul did. When you think of Jesus returning right at this moment, does it make you fear or bring excitement into your heart? If fear, then see whether you have sin from which you need to repent.
