Be diligent to make sure that you are saved

After Peter listed what we call The Christian Graces in Second Peter 1.5–7, he declared that if we possess those things, they will make us fruitful in Christ, whereas, if we lack those qualities, we are blind, having forgotten what the Lord did for us by forgiving us of our sins. That being the case, the apostle then urged us on with these words,

Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1.10–11).

Do not play around with Christianity at your convenience, but make it, make Jesus, your everything, and add The Christian Graces to your soul, because nothing should be more important to us than entering the eternal phase of the kingdom of Jesus.
