10.09.2014 New Testament: Col 1.13–14
To read the Bible in a year, read Colossians 1 on October 9, In the year of our Lord 2014
By Don Ruhl
We give thanks to the Father, because in His blessed Son Jesus Christ, He did wonderful things for us,
He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1.13–14).
The power of darkness had a death grip on us from which we could not escape, but the Father delivered us from that awesome grip, and He did another wonderful thing and put us into the Kingdom of Jesus! We can be in the Kingdom of Christ because Jesus redeemed us with His blood on the cross, which made possible the forgiveness of our sins.
Deliverance from the power of darkness
Conveyance into the Kingdom of Christ
Redemption through the blood of Christ
The forgiveness of our sins
Think on those blessings and see just how wonderful God has been to us.
