As the writer of the Book of Hebrews showed that Jesus far supersedes the angels, the writer spoke of how the Hebrew Scriptures addressed the Son of God,
But to the Son He says:
“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”
(Hebrews 1.8–9)
If you have never considered that Jesus is God, then consider the passage quoted above. Also, when you confess that Jesus is Lord, just what are you saying? Think on that for a while.

Yes, I believe you are correct. We know that He referred to Himself often as the Son of Man, but He was also the Son of God.
