After receiving a prophecy, as recorded in Daniel 11.1–12.7, Daniel confessed that he did not understand what he had heard,

Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, “My lord, what shall be the end of these things?” And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end” (Daniel 12.8–9). 

We want to understand all of the Bible, but sometimes even the Bible writers themselves did not understand what they wrote.

Here Daniel was told that the words were closed up and sealed till the time of the end, so that those living during the fulfillment or sometime after it, would be able to understand it.

Do not get frustrated trying to understand the Bible, because if Daniel could not get it all, then I am sure you and I will not get it all.
