12.10.2014 New Testament: Rev 1.11
To read the Bible in a year, read Revelation 1 on December 10, In the year of our Lord 2014
By Don Ruhl
In peace and quiet, John was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, when he suddenly heard behind him a voice loud enough that it reminded him of a trumpet, and the voice said to him,
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea” (Revelation 1.11).
I think I would have jumped out of my skin! The Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last appeared to the humble old servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving the apostle instructions for writing what would be the last Book of the Bible!

You frog! I would have been more like a very inquisitive child asking why are you here telling me this. That’s just me.

Hahaha! You are funny. Yes, I suppose after I got back into my skin from hearing that loud blast behind me, I would have wondered why He was appearing to me!
