Why do people not glorify God?

Revelation Bible Background

12.24.2014 New Testament: Rev 15.3–4

To read the Bible in a year, read Revelation 15 on December 24, In the year of our Lord 2014

People in heaven sing a fantastic song, and it is a song that makes us think. Notice the question they ask, but also notice the surrounding context, for they reveal why we should glorify God, whereas, they wonder why others do not glorify Him,

They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying:

“Great and marvelous are Your works,
Lord God Almighty!
Just and true are Your ways,
O King of the saints!
Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name?
For You alone are holy.
For all nations shall come and worship before You,
For Your judgments have been manifested.”
(Revelation 15.3–4)

1. The works of God are great and marvelous.
2. His ways are just and true.
3. He is the King of the saints.
4. He alone is holy.
5. People from all nations worship Him.
6. His judgments have been manifested.

Why then would someone not fear Him, and not glorify Him?
