How many thieves announce the day, the hour, and the minute, they shall break into a home, ransack it, and take whatever they want? I can say confidently, “Zero!”

Likewise, we know that Jesus shall return, but we have no idea when that event shall happen, as He Himself declared,

“Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame” (Revelation 16.15). 

If we do not know the time of His arrival, how can we prepare for it? He simply said to watch and to keep our garments, that is, live your life in full expectation that He could arrive at any time, living in holiness.
