01.19.2015 New Testament: Matt 14.15–17
To read the Bible in a year, read Matthew 14.1–21 on January 19, In the year of our Lord 2015

Most of us are right with the disciples, believing that we cannot do anything or that we can do very little. Once 5,000 men, not counting women and children, followed the Lord, but as the day grew late, the disciples demonstrated the very thing of which I speak,
When it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, “This is a deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food.” But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.” And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish” (Matthew 14.15–17).
They could only see what they had in their hands, but they could not see who stood before their eyes! Do you know who works in your life? Can He do anything?
