Levi, whom we also know as Matthew, had a good career ahead of him, working as a tax collector for the Romans, taking tax payments from the Jews. Then Levi met Jesus. To put it mildly, the career of Levi changed,
After these things He went out and saw a tax collector named Levi, sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, “Follow Me.” So he left all, rose up, and followed Him (Luke 5.27–28).
Follow Jesus with your whole heart, and the rest of your life shall follow. Then see what He does with your life. It will change.
