Long prayer is not necessarily more effective than short prayer, nor are complicated prayers necessarily more effective than simple ones. We can pray for a long time or a short time; we can pray complex prayers or ones with a few simple ideas. Either way, we speak to God and He wants to hear us. Look at the prayer of Israel when the Lord sent an oppressor against them because they had forsaken Him,
And the children of Israel said to the Lord, “We have sinned! Do to us whatever seems best to You; only deliver us this day, we pray” (Judges 10.15).
Their prayer consisted of three simple parts:
First, they acknowledged their sin.
Second, they submitted to God’s judgment.
Third, they asked for deliverance.

First, they acknowledged their sin.
Second, they submitted to God’s judgment.
Third, they asked for deliverance.
That’s the way to go. It is how I pray for the prayer ministry at church.

I am glad to hear that you pray in that manner.
