The Lord sent an angel to the future mother of Samson, telling of his birth. However, her husband had not been present. She told him of the conversation that she had with the Man of God—she only saw him as a man. Then her husband prayed,

Then Manoah prayed to the Lord, and said, “O my Lord, please let the Man of God whom You sent come to us again and teach us what we shall do for the child who will be born” (Judges 13.8). 

May the Lord give us more parents like Manoah and his wife, who will seek the Lord’s instructions, and not the psychology of man, for rearing godly children.
