To read the Bible in a year, read Luke 20.1–26 on April 25, In the year of our Lord 2015

We have the tendency to believe everyone who comes to us in the name of the Lord, but some people will use that to catch us tripping up in some way, even as they did the Lord Jesus,
So they watched Him, and sent spies who pretended to be righteous, that they might seize on His words, in order to deliver Him to the power and the authority of the governor (Luke 20.20).
Jesus did not let Himself be taken in by these people, but refuted them, and we should do the same.

Yes sir, you have made two great and true statements.
