07.06.2015 New Testament: Acts 13.32–33
To read the Bible in a year, read Acts 13.24–52 on July 6, In the year of our Lord 2015
By Don Ruhl
As Paul preached to Jews in a synagogue, he reminded them of the promise made to the fathers, and that the sending of Jesus, in particular His resurrection, fulfilled that promise,
“And we declare to you glad tidings—that promise which was made to the fathers. God has fulfilled this for us their children, in that He has raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second Psalm:
‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.’“(Acts 13.32–33)
Over two millennium before, God promised Abraham that through him, God would bless all the families of the Earth (Genesis 12.3). Paul announced to those Jews that day, that God had kept His promise. Truly, He keeps all His promises. Has He promised to forgive you, if you confess your sins and repent of them? Yes, He has. Accept His forgiveness!
