Think of just how mighty our God is: He created the heavens and the Earth. He created us. He created us and the Earth, making us compatible with the Earth and the Earth with us. Who knows the fullness of the might of God and who knows the fullness of His understanding, yet, as Elihu said to Job,

“Behold, God is mighty, but despises no one;
He is mighty in strength of understanding.”
(Job 36.5) 

Since our mightiness cannot in anyway compete with His, and since our understanding is utter foolishness when placed next to His, He could easily dispense with all of us and laugh while doing it. However, something amazing has happened. He does not despise us. He gives us time to repent of our sins before He will have to banish us from His presence, that is, if we do not repent and obey Him.
