07.23.2015 Old Testament: Psa 38.13–16
To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 38–40 on July 23, In the year of our Lord 2015
By Don Ruhl
What do you do when someone plots against you? Sometimes you do not know what to do or what to say, but know that you can speak to God, for He will hear,
But I, like a deaf man, do not hear;
And I am like a mute who does not open his mouth.
Thus I am like a man who does not hear,
And in whose mouth is no response.
For in You, O Lord, I hope;
You will hear, O Lord my God.
For I said, “Hear me, lest they rejoice over me,
Lest, when my foot slips, they exalt themselves against me.”
(Psalm 38.13–16)
Therefore, never forget the Lord, regardless of the issues of your life, because He will always be there for you. Even when you have no hope, you have hope, because there is a God in heaven who hears what you have to say.
