07.26.2015 New Testament: Acts 26.16
To read the Bible in a year, read Acts 26 on July 26, In the year of our Lord 2015
By Don Ruhl
Paul revealed to King Agrippa why Jesus appeared to the apostle. Paul was persecuting the church and he was on his way to persecute more followers of Jesus when Jesus Himself appeared to Paul. Having fallen down because of the vision, Jesus told Paul,
“But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you” (Acts 26.16).
Jesus appeared to Paul to make him a minister and a witness of what he had already seen and of more things that Jesus would reveal to Paul.
Why have you come to know Jesus? What does He want you to do?
