08.03.2015 New Testament: Rom 4.13–15
To read the Bible in a year, read Romans 4 on August 3, In the year of our Lord 2015

How are you saved from sin and from the wrath of God? The same way that Abraham was saved, as Paul wrote,
For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect, because the law brings about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression (Romans 4.13–15).
Abraham became the man that he was before the Lord ever gave the Law. Abraham had faith, which people living during the Law could also have, and we can have. All people at all time find salvation through faith in the Lord, and then having that faith move you to do what He wants.
