08.21.2015 New Testament: 1Co 3.10–11
To read the Bible in a year, read First Corinthians 3 on August 21, In the year of our Lord 2015

Paul reminded the Corinthian Christians that they were God’s building. How awesome is that, my friends? Paul went to explain,
According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 3.10–11).
I appreciate what Paul said, because I also seek to lay the foundation of Jesus Christ in the lives of the people whom the Lord allows me to teach. Later I know that others will work in that person’s life, and I want to make sure that they will build upon what I have built, and of course, I want to be careful to build upon the works of others only what the Lord wants built.
Moreover, each of us must be aware of the fact that we should make Jesus Christ the foundation of our lives and nothing and no one else.
