After stating that he would not compare himself with others or even with himself, Paul said,

We, however, will not boast beyond measure, but within the limits of the sphere which God appointed us—a sphere which especially includes you (2 Corinthians 10.13). 

We boast, but only in those matters in which the God of heaven has allowed us to work, yet, the boast is not in ourselves, rather it is in God.
